These frenzied few days before the holidays, I am working at a store..
specifically in the entertainment section.
Amazing what people do -
even with me right there

filling,
organizing,
picking up,
putting down.
So do a few harried retailers a favor -
if you pick it up...
decide against it...
treat yourself to a bit of exercise and
walk back to where you found it up and
put it back.

(although that would sincerely be appreciated) ...
just in the general vicinity.

The worst is this convo (which we hear. Too often.)
Person A (throwing product around/on other shelves/on floor)
Person B: Don't do that.
Person A: Oh. It's their job to pick this up.
That's why I shake the shit out of person A.

fortunately all the holiday activity that i have to deal with at the school is rackin' up on gifts from kids and parents. :)
